The Behavioral Health Workforce Center invites faculty, field education directors and intern supervisors at community mental health agencies to join us as we share findings from the Preparation of Early-Career Master’s Level Behavioral Health Providers Survey. The survey gathered insights from over 300 supervisors across 129 Illinois mental health agencies and programs. Supervisors shared their perceptions of early-career staff preparation, highlighting variability in direct practice skills and significant gaps in some core areas.
This event will focus on survey findings—at the MA level—and offer an opportunity to discuss early-career training needs, explore next steps, and connect with the Behavioral Health Workforce Center’s ongoing efforts to support the workforce.
